Tooth Fairy
The tooth fairy will be visiting close to 90% of U.S. households with children this year according to a survey conducted by VISA. On average, the going rate for a single tooth is $3.70. When you consider a full set of baby teeth (20), a child would net an incredible $74.
The tooth fairy was particularly generous to the children living in the Northeast while children in the West and South trailed slightly. Midwestern children found the least amount of money under their pillows. With nearly one third reporting they received less than $1, an ecstatic 2% reported receiving $50 per tooth!
