Annual Fee Survey
Have you ever wondered where your dentist ranks in terms of fees in comparison to other dentists in your area? The Academy of Dental CPAs and Dental Economics have partnered to provide data gathered from more than 600 practitioners across the United States to give dentists an in-depth look of fees for the dental industry. Data was collected from large metropolitan areas, rural towns, and all locales in between.
The fees were then arranged into six regions where states were subdivided based on characteristics and market similarities. Data has been presented for the 50th, 70th and 90th percentiles in each region. For example, the fee for the 50th percentile means that 50% of the survey participants charged that fee or less, and 50% charged more.
Sacramento falls into Region 6, the Pacific Region. It includes: Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii and Alaska. We have included our rates as a comparison based on the average in our region.
