Go Ahead. Pancake My Day!!!
Formally known as Lumberjack Day, National Pancake day is celebrated on September 26th. This is actually the 2nd pancake celebration of the year, the first falling in the spring.
How does a panda make his pancakes in the morning? With a pan—duh!
Who doesn’t love a stack of pancakes? Served for breakfast or dinner, on special occasions or as an everyday staple, pancakes are a favorite for many.
While pancakes themselves are relatively tooth-friendly, the toppings don’t always stack up.
Some of the most popular toppings for pancakes are maple syrup, whipped cream and melted chocolate or Nutella. While yummy, they often pack a sugary punch. Try skipping the sugary toppings all together and switch them out for fresh fruit or sugar-free preserves. It will provide just enough natural sugar to give your pancakes a sweet taste, but it won’t cause as much danger to your teeth!
