    Use It or Lose It!

We hope you had a wonderful summer and are settling into the new routines which come during the fall and winter months.

As we approach the end of the year and the hustle and bustle of holiday activities, we wanted to remind you to take full advantage of any dental benefits you may have left.  Most dental insurance plans run on a calendar year which means as of December 31st, if you haven’t used your benefits, you lose them!

Here are 4 simple reasons why you don’t want this to happen.

    1. Traditionally, yearly maximums do not rollover.  With the average plan paying around $1000 per person per year, any unused benefits will be lost.
    2. Most plans have a deductible, which is the amount of money you must pay out of pocket.  The average deductible is usually around $50 per year and will start over again at the beginning of the year.
    3. If you are paying a dental premium every month, you should be using your benefits.  Even if you don’t need dental treatment, you should always have your regular dental cleanings to help prevent and detect early signs of cavities, gum disease, oral cancer and other dental problems.
    4. By delaying dental treatment, you are risking more extensive and expensive treatments down the road.  Take care of simple issues now before they turn into bigger problems later.

Our goal is to help you achieve excellent oral health.  We want you to look good, feel good and enjoy strong, healthy teeth.  Don’t let those dental benefits slip by.  Give us a call today to schedule your next visit!
