Dental Assistant Week 03/01/21
A century ago, they were known as “ladies in attendance.” Today we call them dental assistants.
Dental assistants play a key role in the success of every dental practice and they work hard to ensure your comfort during visits.
Some of their tasks include:
- Take X-rays
- Complete Patient Intake Process including Medical History
- Sterilize Instruments and Equipment
- Make Patients Comfortable Before, During and After Dental Treatment
- Instruct Patients in Oral Care
- Take Impressions of Teeth
There are more than 300,000 dental assistants in the United States and we are lucky enough to have the top assistants right here in our office!
We ♥ our “ladies” and want to give them a big “Thank You” for all they do!
