A word of caution. Some people use a mixture of crushed strawberries and baking soda as a useful and cheap DIY teeth whitening option. According to to the American Dental Association (ADA), fruits mixed with an abrasive (like baking soda) are acidic and can actually caused harm by wearing down your enamel. Don’t risk harming your teeth. Eat them on their own and take advantage of their natural whitening qualities.
