Easy, Plan-Ahead Breakfast For Busy Days
A popular trend, overnight oats, has made busy mornings a bit less hectic for many families as more and more people are turning to them as their breakfast of choice!
If you’ve never had overnight oats, it’s basically a no-cook method of making oatmeal. Instead of cooking it on the stovetop or in the microwave, you soak the raw oats with milk or another liquid overnight. That soaking process allows the oats to absorb the liquid and soften them enough to eat uncooked. Then simply add your toppings of choice and you’ve create a delicious, nutritious meal.
Not only are overnight oats convenient and delicious, they pack a nutritional punch too. Being rich in protein and fiber, they help lower your cholesterol and steady your blood sugar. Additionally, they contain a number of vitamins and minerals such as calcium and vitamin A, which help strengthen your teeth and enamel.
So, if you’re looking for an easy and healthy way to start your day, or just need something quick and filling before the weekday craze, give overnight oats a try.
